Over the top is a turn based tactical game where you travel across no mans land, get through the barbed wire and clear out the opposing trench. And if you fail? Well, someone else can try again tomorrow.

Made for the indy game clinic colab jam.

How to play

- Right click to interact with tiles or objects. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

- On your turn you can either move up to a certain amount of tiles, or shoot in a certain direction. 

- You can switch between targeting mode, or movement mode. In movement mode, you can either walk or crawl.

- Your allies take then take their turn, followed by enemies

- Obstacles like barbed wire need to be cut to get through to the enemy trench

- Standing behind sandbags and trees reduces your chances of being hit by enemy bullets

- The game is won when the opposing trench is cleared, and the machine gun post is blown up.
