It’s Civ, but it’s also Fallout?

Hi there, we've just released an alpha build of our game Charcoal. As it says at the top, we're aiming to make a game that mashes together that state building of civilization with the scrapped together feeling of a fallout settlement.
We've gone through a couple of iterations to get to this point, including a failed multiplayer version. Which we scrapped due to the difficultly of building a game in a difficult genre, combined with the difficulty of multiplayer

And a version of the game on a square based grid, which we scrapped as it didn't feel natural enough.

The current version of the game has the exploration, looting, unit creation and town building we wanted in the game from the beginning. It also acts as a vertical slice, with two victory conditions in this build. We're hoping to add animations for units, factions, a tech tree and a more robust ai system in the coming months. As well as any changes based on player feedback.
If this seems like something you'd be interested in playing, we'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
